Check the signal before calling it an outage.
A loading or join failure can look like a server outage even when it only affects one browser, network, location or account session. Start with evidence that changes the diagnosis.
- 01
Check the official launch screen
Open hop.earth in a current browser and read any live notice, maintenance message or sign-in error before searching third-party posts.
- 02
Try one clean comparison
Use a private window with extensions disabled, or a second current browser. If only one setup fails, treat it as a local issue first.
- 03
Test one other network
If practical, retry once on another stable connection. Do not repeatedly reload the game; rapid retries do not establish a service-wide outage.
- 04
Record time and symptom
Note the time, browser, country or network, and whether failure happened at launch, sign-in or join. That is more useful than a general 'down' report.
